I know scoring issues have been discussed and debated until the cows come home. Fact is no one REALLY seems to understand all the nuiances to it. Try as I might to get past that fact I can't. As an American male where score is the all important barometer of winning/losing it's hard for me to ignore. Hey, it's a cultural thing.
Half way thru this tour I had what I would call a nearly perfect Vehicle record. At one point it was 11 kills, 1 Capture and several Ditches with 0 (zero) deaths. Yet, my Vehicle score/rank was still as high as 450!!! What's with that?? What the HECK does a guy have to do to get a decent score around here?? Yea yea, someone will get on here and say, "score doesn't mean anything". It's still an indicator of ones performance (as inexact as it is) as noted by the generally recognized skill of the pilots usually at the top of the rankings. With that, I consider it a measure of my ability and it is a reflection of me. If we're going to have a score let's by God make it understandable and reasonable...
Sheesh, 11 kills and 0 deaths and I'm ranked 450th?? (slowly shakes head from side to side with disgusted bewilderment).

I took last night off, and my rankings have gone up. Obviously there was some poor performing by my fellow pilots last night - glad I missed it =)

Your kills don't mean squat in the vehicle scores, object damage does! Take your tank to a field and kill a building or two and you will move up in rank.

there is no "i" in "nuances"
and yes i agree the scoring system is porked. i didnt play for 4 days because i was moving and didnt have net access...i went from about 150th to 800 and some.. i come back fly a couple buff flights, then get bored and dont play for a few more days..back to around 500 and some..dumb
