I'm trying to type a coherent response to a post, and I keep getting this #%%@#%%# message that said response exceeds said 80 character limit---that's about 1/3 of one (DAMNIT! there it is again )
-
@#%%#%%@#I can't post a response here Dago
THAT warrants the The message exceeds the maximum allowed length (80 characters).
thingie...some sort buggy affair, seems slaved to threads
-
Try postng one half in one post. and the other half in another
Kinda like a part 1 and part 2
-
80 characters? Check the "subject" line...

If the original thread was allowed to be started, how does that figure in?

When you reply, it adds an "Re:" - which might just bring it over 80 chars.
The original subject on that Obama thread has 77 characters. ;)

If you look at his subject line, you may reckon the awsesome "Trunctation Trick" (tm) ;)

They should shorten the title length to 40 characters. What type of moron creates an 70+ character length title for a thread?

Hit enter 3 times quickly. If that doesn't do it hit ctrl alt del or alt F4.
