I have come to the conclusion that it was a still of a film of hitler going through the crowd and teh film stopped on this woman and she was out of her mind maniacal about being that close to Hitler. This pic does well though, thanks.

I think, and this is just my opinion here.
That if even in jest you are making comparisons between Hitler and any American running to be president of the United States, weather they be Republican or Democrate. You need to brush up on your history from the Nazi era.
I am not crazy about Obama either, or MaCain for that matter but when you look at a picture of Hitler and his Nazi pals, you are looking right at one of the purest examples of absolute evil that has ever soiled the face of the earth.
Not saying that you are makeing that comparison, but thats what it sounds like. Forgive me if I am wrong.

Well, I was actually making a comparison as to how jubilent the Germans have shown themselves to be towards leaders they don't quite know everything about. Sorry if I offended anyone.

I know the one you are talking about, it is actually a film that most journalists take a snapshot of, for documentaries.
If memory serves, it was film right after the Chek land grab.

I think that those Germans shown greeting Obama would be done a disservice if they were made out to be as loyal embracers of Obama.
Those 200,000 folks were there for a concert. In between the reggae musician Patrice and the rock band Reamonn, Obama was allowed to speak to the concert-goers.
Funny that I haven't really seen that publicized, either. It's the media that is wishing to portray Obama as such a charismatic character that "HE DREW 200,000!!!"
*rolls eyes* He was just a party crasher. Not only that, but he didn't even say thank you for letting him borrow the stage for those few minutes.
At least it gave some of the concert-goers a pee break between musicians.

That seems to be standard with Obama, all show and no substance. Pretty much the same for Bill Clinton and it sure didn't stop him from being elected. To paraphrase H. L. Mencken:

Actually, it is YOU who need to brush up on History. It is not a coincidence that Obama and Hitler are very similar, minus the jew killing.

It is not a casual comment to notice that how Hitler gained power, and how Obama is gaining power is identical. It is not a casual comment to state that Hitler and Obama have identical platforms.
The real scary thing is that there is so much misinformation about Hitler abound, that very few people will recognize it happening again. Hitler was not a right winger. Fascism, Socialism, and Nazism are not right wing parties.
Just as much as our Liberals and Progressives actively supported and campaigned for both Stalin, Hitler AND Mussolini, Liberals and Progressives of other countries actively support a politician that mirrors the worst Despots of recent history.
As much as I joke about how much I'll enjoy the coming revolution, it will not be a fun one. And 50 years from now Liberals and Progressives will call Obama's socialist principles part of the Right Wing, and the process will repeat again. It has been happening since the beginning.
