Title: Stick setup for different planes.
Post by: Getback on July 27, 2008, 12:24:08 AM
I was wondering if any of you set up each plane differently. Some planes I fly in are as smooth as silk but if I jump into a 190a8, as an example it becomes bouncy.

Have my three modes set for Fighter, Vehicle and Bomber. So yea, there's a small difference for my A6M and if I decide to up bombers.

If you use many different planes then you need a happy medium for stick settings.  If you are just using one plane then you can fine tune stick settings on that individual plane.  However, a quick splash of damping on the vertical axis should smooth out your a8 more without to much interference with other planes.

He's not talking about modes.  He's referring to stick settings and settings of said stick for different planes i,e dead band, dampening and sliders.
