The only way to play this game is to have fun!!

We had a great showing for the last frame of Rangoon. Even though we were killed in pretty short order it was alot of fun!

because of a few inconsiderate people our brother squad (84th FS) has been disbanded. read this thread if you wish to know why: The Reason (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/index.php/topic,251431.0.html).

We are now looking for members to join the 78th FG as Pony, Jugg and 38 Pilots. We will eventually activate the 84th FS again but probably not int he near future. We will also be activating the 82nd and 83rd squads as well.  This is the break down:

82nd Mix'd airframe ( 51,47,38's)
83rd P-38 series
84th P-47 series

BTW gents....I looked at the Photo Collection you have posted at your Web Home.

The Photo titled target of opportunity.  I have a Proof of that, not a print but a Proof.

A Proof is what Prints are made from.

It hangs proudly in my livingroom....amongst other prints I've collected.

The Proof (and prints) are titled "Target of Opportunity"

autographed by Lt. Col. Richard A. Hewitt 82nd FS CO.

It is marked 25/50 which means it is the 25th proof of 50.

The Artist: Marcus W. Stewart

I believe at purchase it was 125 to 150 dollars. (for the Proof)
quite reasonable imho.

A print would be somewhat cheaper.

BTW...the P47 in the picture is a depiction of a P47D25 (which is printed in small letters, bottom left of Proof)
