From Perezhilton.com............
Mark McGrath is OUT as the host of TV's Extra.
The rocker turned celeb news show host is being replaced by none other than Mario Lopez.
Shit, Slater has probably been campaigning for the job since he joined Extra part-time in 2007.
When the show returns for its 15th season next month, co-host Dayna Devon is also getting a DEMOTION - she will remain on as "a special correspondent."
Lots of changes being made!
A rep for the show says, "[Mario Lopez] has established himself as a highly engaging, likeable and sought-after host and personality."
Hey, at least McGrath can fall back on his band, Sugar Ray.
Too bad no one cares about that band anymore!
I can't believe this!!!!! McGrath was one of the better hosts of Extra. He had the unique ability to explain all that is important in the entertainment industry. I'm not too excited about the addition of Mario Lopez. He kind of irritates me.
What do u think about the departure of McGrath?
Who would u want to host Extra in the future?
-
Who's he? ;)
-
I think you're gay... or a chick... or in desperate need of a hobby.
-
Yup... time to revoke that man card. You're done. ;)
-
I don't watch paparazzi-supporting tabloid TV shows.
-
At first I thought this was a thread about Mark McGuire coming out.
But then I read closer.

Flamewarriors, eh?
Whoever chose that name either had a special taste for the double-entendre, or a unique blindness to it.

It's more of a "who cares?" kind of thing.

Well, you are quite right on that assessment of the founder of Flame Warrior.
