I will be moving over to Portsmouth this coming year...mid to late 09. I will be over there for about a year and a half. My wife currently does not want to go...so she may stay with kids in San Diego for that time...and I will be a geo-bachelor. I will have to see how that plays out. Either way...a get together may be in order.

Been to Portsmouth a couple of times on business ... cool place, awesome pubs, and a watermelon load of naval history.

The "boats" blew me away. Wild white horse couldn't have dragged me onto those boats back in those days to go on any of those extended voyages.

Don't know if you have ever been to Maine before. If you haven't ... your in for a surprise ... a whole different type of "lifestyle" up there.

If you ask for directions ... you will get a lot of ... "Can't get there-a from here-a" ... :D

lol, I grew up as a Mainiac:). ya, it is a different place. Sometimes when I go up to visit and forget where something is, I get, "well, go down the road a little bit, till you see a big tree just past a white house with a big barn. Take a left where the old Smith house used to be, go up your second hill, just past where there is someone usually selling blueberries, and it should, (yes should) be right up there on the right...you can't miss it.
