Still trying to get around to finishing the VF-85 Charlie, and Ol' 122.

Thank you Whiteman. I'm not planning to do any more F4U skins right now, unless I get a request from a squad or something. Next I'm skinning an RAF C-47 in desert colours for the new maps and also the MA. After that I'm not sure, maybe an Afrika Korps Sdk 251, a BPF Hellcat or another La-5FN.

Just curious, If I found a pic for you, could you do a 35FG/40FS P-39 skin? You did our squad's P-47D25's skin. :salute

I was busy with the interior when the P-39 was being done so I never did an exterior template for it. It takes me a month or so to do a plane from scratch but only a few days to do a new scheme once I've skinned the first one. I doubt I'll ever get time to do a P-39 template now. So I'm sorry, but I won't be able to do your skin.

Saxman i remembered you said you were going to work on a 312 HOG, just curious if you have had a chance to work on it and was it an -1A?
-
Wasn't me, but whoever's doing it I'm pretty sure she's a 1D.
-
Yes, :salute guys. I was just thinking we needed some Hog skins. :salute :salute

noticed Saxman and Greebo have filled up the -1A spot pretty good, only 4 spots left to fill. I've been looking for info on some -1D's that have caught my eye before i ask for them.
this is one i was going to look for some info on.

Great picture.

Looking at the canopy that may be a later 1A. VERY few 1Ds had the framed canopy, and I believe I've seen this aircraft specifically identified as a 1A as well.

i've seen both -1A and -1D, was going to try and find some more info. I'd prefer -1A since thats my favorite

One way to find out for certain would be to get her BuNo and look at the range it falls into.
