..my questions and suggestions.
1. are the clouds moving in AH? if not, would it be possible to do so? (in horizontal)
suggestions:
you created the most beautiful clouds i've ever seen in a flightsim. we like you and we know, there are way to few of them in the air. will the framerate drop extremly when you will add clouds with factor 5x and more?.
next thing, will it take moderate worktime to create overcast cloud fields to cover a huge area? same question of framerate drop here to.
would be give us much more fun and realism.
think of buffs and fighters hiding in clouds.
think of strato buff, coming to bomb your HQ
and then suddenly see no HQ, because sky is overcast. he can run home..or decent to bomb his target.
although to the rest of the AH-community, what you think of my ideas.

Clouds in AH do move.
HT has said that adding more clouds would be a frame rate hit.
I have had to bomb through clouds on more than one occasion, and they were some of the most immersive flightsim experiences I've had. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)
Agree, "cloud fights" are very fun. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)
An occasional overcast could be fun too. I wonder if it could be done with "haze", to minimize the frame rate hit. Or...something.

Yes, frame rate does take a hit when there are a lot of clouds out there. Yes, they are moving about 20-40 mph. If you're sitting on the ground under the clouds, you'll see them moving. HT's talked about doing overcasts in the past, but we haven't messed around with it yet.

Super, if you do overcasts, then make sure you modify the B17 with a 'Mickey' so that we may bomb with overcast skies. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)
