How long do we have to live in fear of these dangerous weapons in our communities?
The defendants appeal from the following convictions for their parts in the fracas: Rachael, assault and battery and disturbing the peace; Kelly, assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon (a "wiffle ball bat") http://caselaw.lp.findlaw.com/scripts/getcase.pl?court=ma&vol=appslip/appApr03v&invol=1
Surely the public need to be protected! Do it for their own good! BAN THE WIFFLE BAT!

In the end--if you ban wiffle ball bats---then only criminals will have them.

 Same with croquet mallets.

But it might be worth it if we save one parent's child from being wiffled! Think of the children!!!

 :devil

Wiffle bats don't kill people, people kill people.  Also your more likely to kill a family member with a wiffle bat in the house then a criminal.

I support the individual right to own a Wiffle Bat, but with "Reasonable Restrictions".

I see the need for a new organization.

 The NWBA

 National Wiffleball Bats Association.

for the sole purpose of protecting the rights those who onlyuse wiffleball bats for the intended purposes and for protection.

 :D

By the way how did you stumble onto this? I know Iwould never have thought to search wiffleball bat crimes.
