Title: Star Trails

Made this Sat night at our local Astronomy club observing session.  44 exposures @ 3 minutes each.  (One got dropped due to aircraft trail.  Can you see the gap?)

All the funky red lights on the ground are from people walking around with red flashlights.  Also so green laser pointer trails.

Very amazing picture.

It use to puzzle me how the stars seemed to move that way.

just saw my first star tonight over chicago.

took me a bit to remember to look up.

one is better than none eh?

looking forward to the next time that i get out to see them.
