Would like to see this.  Give it a special icon so we know not to shoot at it.

give the dead icon to the victor. show a normal icon to the dweebs trying to steal the kill.

I think it'd be great to have 'em finish their plummet to the ground.  Also, leave the icon the way it is, and take away the chute icons so you actually have to pay attention to see them bailing or in a chute.

Similarly, I'd like to be able to shoot the chute without killing the pilot, allowing him to free fall until he splats.

Dead planes should have no icon. This way we only see the pretty fire and everyone on both sides knows the plane is dead.

I liked this feature in Warbirds, funked.  The plane would also turn to white icon so as to notify those around it that it was indeed a dead duck, preventing one from losing precious alt to chase after a bogie that was dead.

Yes HT!!  Please give a hispano all chutes...this will entice more guys to bail allowing me more attempts to kill chutes!

I think European Air War had it set up so that if a plane was "dead" it's icon/label was gone.  Same for Microsoft Combat Flight Sim 2.

No label, white label, "dead" label, whatever, it's all good.   :)
Just keep those planes around until they splat.
