Not much of a story in the news article, but I saw this beautiful machine (B-17) fly over my house yesterday, and was completely awe-struck. There are a couple of small photos with the article. Just thought I would pass it along. :aok

Cool, too bad Auburn is a bit of a drive for me. For how long will they be there?
-
I believe they will be there until Noon tomorrow. I may sneak up there tonight.

I was able to go through (literally) both of those this past weekend. They were at Mt Comfort just east of Indy. It was pretty cool to actually be able to crawl around inside them.

Anaxogoras - Maybe one of the future locations is closer?
Gloves - Get any good photos? :)

Unfortunately, no photos. About half way to Mt Comfort, I realized I had left my camera at home. Still, for $12, it was a great experience to crawl around inside those birds.

Nope, looks like I missed it. :( I'm in Lafayette. If I had know a couple days ago I could've seen them in Indianapolis.

Yeppers, suprising just how cramped the B-17 is. You gonna make it to the Mt. Comfort airshow in a few weeks? Last few years were cool as heck and a few years ago a few of the Tuskeegee airmen were there.
All the Best...
