Title: Why NOT to have kamikazes
Post by: SKYGUNS on August 05, 2008, 05:43:52 PM
I used the magical search button and was disappointed to see that there was almost more kamikaze related topics than B29.
So I'm wishing here for you guys to stop wishing for it for the following reasons....

its too easy for the attackers.

Well lets just assume each and EVERY aircraft "when it blows up or hits a object/ground" that it detonated with the force of a 250lb bomb, or more depending on fuel load and such.

Couple that with endless supply and waves of aircraft, and your cv fleets, gv hangers and everything else that can be hit* will be hit, and with stupid accuracy.

We are not talking new pilots in planes without guns weighed down by bombs, with one curse of action, to fly in and hit something with themself's, in aces high you would have a highly nimble plane, heavy guns and bombs/rocket's that can and most likely would drop all ords straff to delight then, when the odds are against them, nose dive right into the runway or ship.

I am talking about wave after wave of them.

You think stuka lancs that bail after carpet bombing was bad?Try heavy armed and skilled pilots who will kami at any chance to "stick it to the enemy" if they know they will be defeated.
