Check out this pic! I've seen the video of this crash at an air show in Europe. It took place in the 80 or 90 I can't remember. Look at the close call I mean miliseconds from death ?

might wanna check the language unless you wanna png...

.

Maybe for the pilot but what about the people that plane crashed on? Not such a great close call in my view.
-
That looks even closer to the unlucky chumps that were previously enjoying the show. OUCH.
-
Or it's from the crash in Ukraine that killed dozens a couple of years ago?

Yep, killed 85 people in July of 2002. Pilot and back-seater were sentenced to 14 and 8 years respectively for violating flight rules.
-
In the document video they said, the pilot did the best to fly the plane out of the most crowed area, and only ejected in the last possible second.

The head of the Ukrainian Air Force got canned over this.
How's your Russian?

Yes. I believe they found enough of the camera intact, but the same couldn't be said of the photographer.
Yenny, this was a horrible tragedy, no matter which side of the Iron curtain your on. Myself, I wouldn't have used such light or unconsiderate language in posting this.

wow....... the pic looks fake, ........dam ,,

Give him a break. I don't think he meant any disrespect to the victims. In a way I'm glad the camera was focused on the Su-27 and not the crowd. This is gruesome enough out of focus. :uhoh

85 killed, over a hundred injured.

July 2002.
There's a rather graphic post-crash video on the Wikipedia link I posted earlier. It's up to you whether you choose to watch it or not. Very sobering. :salute

Oh I'm being straight foward, not like I colored my word of anything. I just said look at the timing on that pilot. I don't think I've said anything offensive. To me that pilot is a hero, staying in as long as he can to pilot the plane out of the crowed area and eject at the last possible second.

That's not what he did.
-
Oh maybe it was a different one I'm remembering.

Is this the same one w/ the picture? in the picture it seems like it was a Mig-29, in the film linked it's an SU-27.
-
:O That pic's insane... I read about this a long time ago, very sad.
-
Picture looks fake...everything but the plane is motion-blurred.
-
That was all Pilot error. Then he ejected to save his own butt. He should have known that the Flanker could not have recovered from that.
It doesn't even look like the burners were lit. Flankers smoke unless they are in burner.
As for fake, I think not. The reason everything is blurred except the plane is because the photographer was panning the shot on the plane. Follow the moving object and then everything else will be out of focus.
-

Cameraman was tracking the plane. Maybe the blurriness is because the people couldn't manage to move as fast as the airplane.

Yenny, it's a 2-seater SU-27.

I followed one of the links and then wished I hadnt. Its heartbreaking to see the broken little bodies of children on the pavement.
This was a terrible event.

When the camera person walks past the pilot and his chute, there is a person in front of a prop transport who was in a lawn chair, cut in half.
Ugh.
-
That's pretty nasty.
This will not end well.

Every time something out of the ordinary is posted in the inTARDnet someone arrives with these ridiculous fake calls. A nice example I came across a few days ago, check the comments:

i think this is a different one than the one pictured in the beginning of the thread. look at the video. it's hitting the ground with the left wing dipped, and nose slightly high.
the one in the pic, on the other hand, is hitting in a nose low attitude.

Yeah, but there's no clear view of the actual impact in the video (thankfully). I'm guessing the image posted by Yenny was taken by a still photographer who just managed to get "the" shot. If it was a frame from a video, the video would probably be out there on the web somewhere.

I stand corrected.
-
Actually there is a section in the video where you can see the plane pitching into a nose down attitude as the canopy comes off. If the photographer was on the other side as this happened you could see how this pic could have been taken. Note how you cannot see if the left wing is still intact? Also if you look closely at the dust patterns behind the plane you can see it is rotating counter clockwise, so I'd say this was taken just after the initial impact before that aircraft completely broke up.

OK, I'll trade you infinite malevolent power for just one of your eyes.
-
That's OK, I already have infinite malevolent power :D It came with the eyes :P

that totally discussed me....<<S>> to those who died in that incident and those injured.
