Title: right upward view hosed ??????
Post by: batdog on August 06, 2008, 08:46:59 PM: When ever I try to look right - up I cant adjust it. My directional keys work fine UNLESS I'm trying to adjust THAT view.

Its making life damn complicated w/in the game. Any ideas? I've checked read only settings, reloaded AH (clean) and taken various perhipals out of the picture ie stick, mouse, reset keyboard (usb).

Help?

some you can only move backwards or away, but never the way you want. It's been that way since I started AH

Actually I cant adjust ANY of them.....

Never works for me if I use keypad numbers alone.

Routine:

A - Press '5' on keypad to get straight up view.
B - Push left (or right) on your stick's directional hat.
C - Adjust view to your liking.
D - Carefully hold both '5' and direction on stick hat (will need to swap fingers on the '5' to get to the 'F10') and save.

That will work.

If three of the keys on the same one are pressed at the same time, they won't work. So, some of the views won't save depending on your keyboard; that's why using the joystick hat switch will work, as that's on a separate path altogether.

Usually when this occurs, the motherboard speaker will beep as BIOS gets ticked at you. ;)

Post by: batdog on August 07, 2008, 09:19:06 AM: I never heard an offending beep. Just wouldnt MOVE to the postion period much less save. I'll try Mazz's fix and see if this functions. If not.... I'm clueless.

logitech 3d something other.

I used Mazz's fix... it works.
