In the case of peta, many of the animals they write about are smarter than the peta folks writing about them.

I would love to tie some PETA members to the chairs on my patio. Then, we would fire up the grill and get it nice and hot. When everything is ready, we can pull some nice thick Delmonico steaks out and put them on. Would love to see the looks on their faces as my friends and I start chowing down on a great dinner. :D

Oh :huh, why? They're not the SPCA. These idiots want to free lobsters from restaurants. They want you to stop eating animals.. period. Frankly, I'd like to see them tangle with the hard-asses on "Deadliest Catch". That would be some good stuff.

At the Farmland Foods plant I worked at in the mid '80s the hogs were stunned with electricity before having their throats cut. The vast majority of the hogs bled to death before the stun ever wore off. PETA twists the facts pretty hard in most cases.

I'm sending an e-mail to Discovery channel now to suggest that as an episode. Hell make it Pay Per View and I'd still watch it. That would be some GOOD reality TV right there.

I admire all of the PETA freaks desire to take action. Would be worthwhile if they put that same effort into... oh... say... feeding starving children... or... fundraising for cancer research... or something that has a direct impact for improvement of lives.

France has the least amount of vegetarians on the planet of any 1st world country... iirc, it's less than 2% of their population and declining. I've read that vegetarianism is on the decline everywhere... thank god for that one.
