Hi all,
I need someone to help me work on my aim in the TA... By doing something incredibly boring... I'm looking for a volunteer to take up a faster plane than me, get alt on me, and repeatedly BnZ me, intentionally overshooting over and over again for my entire ammo load.
I understand that this will be very, very boring for the volunteer... But I will reciprocate and do either the same thing for you, or another very, very boring task that you think might help you out.
I was thinking we'd each take a turn and the turn would last for an ammo load...
Anyone have a book they'd like to read while flying? :D This could be your chance...

omg I Can be that person ! <-- volunteer right here. After my 1st few overshot at ya and you kept missing I just build enough confident to keep overshooting knowing you have a low chance of hitting me.

Same here..can't miss me..always "low & slo"..just look for the a/c with the big red meatball on the side/wings. :D

Keep in mind Vudak, that the Lead Computing Gunsight will help you figure out very quickly where you need to aim, even on those overshoot moves.
Just use it for a few passes at first to get a frame of reference, and then disable it again, and try it on your own...
Cntrl-Tab to enable it, then use Tab to select your victim.

Yeah, I'm going to try that for a few spins... I've also turned on tracers for the first time in years, so I should at least know where I'm messing up now.
Really, I'll bet reducing my caffeine intake would be a good first step :)

i would love to do this with you vudak i can get the overshoots like your talking about but its rare i hit anyone once they start zooming im usualy a little unstable or my nose is pointed 25/45 degrees off of where they zoom at, i only hit a 262 like this and it was because he only climbed about 45degrees and i sprayed and prayed from 600 out in a jug. managed to pilot wound the sucker too lol

Vudak, I'd be willing to help you out if you'd then duel me and offer your advice (filming and sending them to be would be icing on the cake).
Hoof in game. Just let me know, I should be on a fair amount this weekend (wife's out of town on a business meeting).
