Ive been on youtube, and these people that use the videos of actual people dying to forward thier views of a conspiracy make me sick.
All it takes to harden my heart is the smoke smotherd cry of a man who was begging on the telephone for help as the building fell around him.
I swear if one punk on the street ever tells me he thinks it was a government conspiracy, ill knock him out, and though we try to forget the horror of that day, I hope we can all relive it time to time, and realise that the war against evil is ignored at the cost of innocent lives.
Though I believe in no God, my heart goes out to those that died unwillingly for a war they never knew was being waged,and I spill tears for thier last moments...
May they never be abandond in our hearts and minds...
Sorry to bring this up, but occasionaly I must force myself to watch all the video again, to remember how it felt to watch on that day as thousands died...

i'm in south jersey, and in the civil air patrol. one of our squadron members used to work for a tv station. one of his buddies from work was on the roof of one of those buildings when it got hit. he called bill on his cell phone, asking for help. bill got one of the stations chopper pilots, and a chopper and went to try to get him off the roof.
they were approaching to let this guy climb on, when the F16 pilot callled them on the radio, and told them to get out of the area. they tried to explain that their friend was there and that they could see him. that they'd get him and be gone in less than a minute. the falcon re-iterated his warning. they tried to ignore him, and continued on to get their friend. the falcon pilot made a final call, and bill said they could hear the "tone" in the backround, at which point they turned away. as they were leaving the area, the building collapsed.
i cannot even imagine having to watch a friend die like that, and hope i never do.
on another note, all of the pictures of that disaster, that came right afterwards, were from CAP aircraft. we were hte only ones in the air besides the military.

How long "after" are you talking about, since I know for a fact that NBC's
Chopper 4 took the video of the second aircraft going in. I also know that
Northstar <one of NJ's State Police medivacs> was also airborne.
That night I had two arrivals at Morristown, one USAF Citation 560 with a
4 star general aboard and a CAP 172 from Louisville with med supplies. The
CAP plane had required 4 hours of negotiations before being allowed to flyinto
the area.
KMMU is 30 miles west of NYC and just outside the 25 mile exclusion zone
centered on JFK. After 2 days, the FAA allowed Part 135 Charter flights to
operate, until then it was awful quiet.

the buildings had already collapsed. the skies were still "open" when the second plane hit. it was after that(although i don't know how long afterwards) that the skies were "closed". the CAP flights were only there for damage assesment, as we're a civilian auxiliary to the air force.

exactly. i think they started the grounding process shortly after the second plane hit. nothing in the air was allowed to enter US airspace, and nothing 'cept military, and a few CAP(doing damage asessment) aircraft were supposed to be airborn afterwards.
both buildings were still up when my friend was trying to rescue his friend.

I have been to both Israel and to several Arab nations (Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar), and I can and will vouch for the fact that the people there are almost all extremely kind, hospitable, and friendly people. Sadly, a tiny minority of retarded extremists (notably Al Qaeda) have given the entire region a bad name.

Like when the building fell down, it looked as if explosives had been planted on the floors when obviously it was debris from the upper floors shooting out the window. That is the biggest one with the twin towers. I think I still have that hilarious PM some dude who says he's 40 sent me. Kid acts like he's younger than me.
