Title: HO avoidance 101
Post by: Chalenge on August 10, 2008, 02:48:06 AM
In a target rich environment your the only con to attack! "I have cannons and he doesnt so I can HO!"

I counted eight 110s three 190s a P51D a Spit 16 and two C47s. They all died in the end (this is just a short clip of one HOer). Three tried it before I passed through the entire line. Its not hard to get out of this guys way!

Avoid a HO is one of the most simplest things to do. They only have maybe 1-2 seconds to fire before they blow right by you, and if you maneuver in any direction, they'll have to adjust their aim, which takes 1-2 seconds.

I'm still 11-0 in a Spit 1 and HO'ing 110 G's.   They see my SPit Icon and Assume I'm a Spixteen and "saddle up".   Just when they quiet the cartoon plane down, they're in the tower whining.

I call BS!

Paging DanoDano, Erica, Betty, CofCorn who were witness to 6 of them personally.  Call BS all you want.   Well placed 303's will win everytime over average joe in a HO wagon.

You may also want to watch the film of Mensa and I performing a mock duel.    He was in a 262 (and we were both serious at this point) and I was in a Spit 1.   I never got a collision message and put a 2 sec burst in his cockpit.   303's are point and shoot for me.

I hate getting HO ed because I like flying the A6m5. But if I am upping and the enmy are overpowering and kill happy "Mine, Mine, Mine" then I up a B25H and play the HO card. Turns well  and soaks up the damage. :aok
