I believe it is time to introduce Type VIIC Uboote to the game.  A lot of guys would love to get a Uboot and torpedo some ships, use the deck guns, lay mines, etc.

Also, from a game standpoint, there has been no new submarine game on the market for several years and this is a chance to do something unique.

Using the sub to pick up downed airmen, deliver commandos/troops, and gather intelligence with periscope photos would also be kewl.  Revising the ports with hardened sub pens would add another dimension.

ships in ah move at 40mph

you would never get anywhere close to them with a slow uboat.

even ptboats cant catch a fleet going away

i mentioned this awile ago,and festor,i think ur doing something wrong,cos a pt is faster than fleet,but i think a fleet of DEs goes faster than the normal fleet of 1 CV,1 CA,and 4 DEs. and from wot i know,u-boats moved faster at the surface than submerged. but HTC might include surply ships some time soon.

Sounds neat, coming up with counter measures sounds even neater, (which the arena will need) but that could be fairly taxing on resources for flight sim development.
