I personally believe... that U.S. Americans are unable to do so... because...
Uh... some people out there in our nation don't have maps...
And... uh... I believe that our education, like such as in South Africa and... uh... the Iraq, everywhere, like, such as...
And I believe that they should...
Our education over here in the U.S. should help the U.S... uh...
Or, should help South Africa and should help the Iraq and the Asian countries...
So we will be able to build up our future... for our [children]

The U.S. needs to leap ahead of the rest of the world massively in the field of technology. So much so that we become the leading exporter of technological goods (computers, aircraft, etc). This could be accomplished by free higher learning, tax breaks for technology industries, and other means.

Yes, but...Aircraft, computers, etc. were all developed here, and arguably we do lead in these technologies.
What we really do need, is to build and manufacturethem here.

FREE Higher learning? Given the way most everything else the "government gives" away, at the expense of tax payers, is wasted, "FREE" higher learning would be a rather large waste of a great sum of money that does not belong to the government to give away to begin with. Rarely is anything "given away" for "free" actually appreciated, utilized, and taken advantage of. "Free" higher learning would be just another example.

You're stating an opinion that the world is extremely volatile, Red. I don't think that's true. If I were president, I'd recommend Americans not watch TV for about a month to calm down.
The role of the US is for Americans to live their lives and enjoy their families, friends and co-workers. That's about it. I would accomplish that by staying out of your business, not tell you how to live your life and strive to get other government workers out of your life. As your president, I am merely an employee and don't wish to be your ruler.

India provided free higher learning to anyone who wanted to earn a degree in computer science. Thats why all of our IT jobs are being outsourced to them.

I thought they gave them English for dummies and an 800 #.

No, not really. Our jobs are being outsourced to them because it's CHEAP. They work for cheap wages, and their employers don't have to pay as much tax on them, either.

I would answer, "At this time in the world, which IS extremely volatile. As a professional news reporter who uses the English language as your set of tools, how can you screw it up like that? next question, ... yes the lil' blond chicky with the large breasts from MSNBC... the girl... from MSNBC... I mean I assume your brought your own breasts."

Actually its both. They have a large number of unemployed *highly* educated individuals. That is why.

Most of Europe has 'free', or at least, heavily subsidized higher education. The US IT industry didn't re-locate en-mass to Germany though - ergo we conclude India was chosen on cost. Also, I have to say, my experience is that Indian IT grads aren't that well educated. I'd take a European or US Comp Sci grad over an Indian any day of th week and twice on Sunday. Put it this way: for all the jobs that have gone over there, what innovation in Computer Science has come out of India?

Well...volotile I guess is possibly a strong word...I just think it is.
The rest of your answer......got money to run?

My first move would be tobribe or blackmail ala Don Corleone style (Make em an offer they cant refuse) Congress into declaring me dictator for life.
Then I'd have Nancy Pelosi , Tom Daschle and John Boehner ,Newt Gingrich hands nailed to the front door of the senate.
Just so they know I was serious
THEN I could get things accomplished.
I'd have to stay away from the capitol building though

I can see no downside to this... :huh

Cat Herders.
And, as a follow up , how would you accomplish this?
Shotguns, nets, hockey sticks and the occasional use of nukes, as the situation dictates and terrain allows.
-
My answer would be, "Still waiting for a valid question.....next."
-
This could be accomplished by free higher learning
Did the sign on that bus that just went by say "Socialism" or "Communism"?
You saw it didn`t you? The short bus.

Did you miss the part where I said both? Low costs (cheap labor) and a highly educated population (degree's).
My friend Esha would have a problem with you saying she isn't that well educated. You shouldn't generalize so much.
