Seems like a bargain, 256mb graphics in a laptop for only 400 quid.
Everything is better than my desktop except the HD size and maybe the 1.8 dual core cpu (I have a 2.4 single core amd). But from what i've read dual core cpu's are a lot better than a single core.

Ditch vista.

Remember that laptops will never be near desktops in gaming performance, especially when running on batteries. Also note that the manufacturing cost of an AC'97 sound chip is less than $0.05

My laptop was very similar to that before I sent it back to the company for a brand new one under warranty.
It had a AMD Dual core, nvidia 7600 GO, 2GB ram, and vista home premium. It played AH on full graph settings and high res. So yea I would say that laptop its roughly the same amount I paid for mine in USD. Advantage to that laptop over mine is that you will have Intel dual core which you should be able to run both cores in AH unlike my AMD since there is no dual core patch for vista unfortunately.

It will play AH2 very well.
I have an HP Lappy with the t2300cpu, go7600gpu and 2gb of ram and AH is smoooooth at 1400x900 native res on the 17".
