Had a blast in late War purple tonight. No warping, frames high but not enough Enemy toward end of night (10:30 Cnt)
Titanic Tuesday just gets way to crowded and my system just can't handle it all that well. I'm thinking of going there more often for TT because of it and wanted to let some of the other players with the same probs know there is another option.
In the main I fly Rook with a rare hop or two because thats where my Squad is but in Late War it doesn't really matter much to me where I fly.
Choosing the least populated side works until others come in looking to join the highest numbers. Once the #'s in there get screwed it's not as fun so if any do decide that LW is right for them on Tuesdays keep that in mind.
Once you switch also don't forget that you can't switch back for at least 45 minutes,... I think. If your squad goes there keep that in mind as well.
Hope to see more flyer's in LW on Tuesdays.

Tool I think you meant Mid War?
I liked the Mid war as an alternative to Titanic Tisaster...I might even could learn how to fly there. It's not the furball of DA and more sane than the MA, ESPECIALLY on Titanic Disaster Day. Glad I could offer GAlpo and Elfy some target practice, they are good.
AKAK...I chuckled when you got "called out", your trash talk sets up the "un-initiated" for a harsh lesson I am sure. Smacking around? It' weird that a good pilot as yourself would be satisfied and bragadocious about "smacking" down a few planes over 35 in ENY(spit 1s, stukas, etc), but I am glad you enjoy that kind of stuff. At least you're not some serial killer on the streets(you're not right?) or something since you do have this sort of outlet. Re "horde" comments last night, we weren't doing ourselves any favors with the ENY and again, at least you got to enjoy yourself, besides, only the Bish and Knits horde..lol. People just kept joining us until it just snowballed out of control and became disfunctional. Cant blame them cause some pple prefer organization and planning and thats what we offer. We function as a group with a goal and it's rewarding when it works.
The weird thing was when we got to MW, nobody was "fighting". It was just a bunch of individuals or 1-2 people trying to sneak bases from each other, but that was my first visit there and look forward going back next Tuesday for my lessons taught by some very good opponents. :salute

You forget the FM2s, F4Fs, F6F-5s, A6M5s and C.205s that you guys were upping as well. No offense but it was one of your squadron mates that started it off when they cried about how no one was fighting the Rookies. So a few of us took the challenge and went to meet you guys over A15 (which you were attacking in force, both in the air and on the ground). When the couple of Knights met your squadron, we were out numbered 3 to 1 and despite the calls from your squadron for a fight, we found a group of Rookies willing to do anything but fight. For example, when I arrived over A15 I encountered a F6F-5 that was about 3,000ft above me, heading towards me. I maneuver to get into position to pull a lead turn on the merge when the Hellcat started his dive on me. Instead of merging for a fight, the Hellcat instead dove straight past me to join 3 of his squadron mates on the deck chasing a lone Knight. To me, that is sad. A squadron that wants a fight only to have one of them avoid a 1v1 (they had the alt and E advantage) just to join in on a 4v1 gang job. I dove down to assist the lone Knight but unfortunately, he was killed as I cleared 2 of the Rookies off his six. The other two Rookies (the F6F-5 that dove and a FM-2) at that point ran straight for the town (you guys had 2 Weeblewobbles and a tank in town) for the cover of the weeblewobbles and both stayed within weeblewooble range for protection. It was only when I grew tired flying around outside of range waiting for the two Rookies enage did I finally decide to brave the weeblewobble fire and enage the two timid Rookies. I managed to get one before getting plasted by the weeblwobbles and town acks after A15 was captured.
On my second sortie, Dedalos, akELFY and I returned to A15 for another fight. This time we got lucky and found a group of Ju87's taking off and like a feeding frenzy, we pounced and wiped them out. Then you guys upped fighters, C.205s, F4Fs, FM2, Zekes and Hellcats. Each Rookie I engaged would HO and then run back to field acks. You guys would also avoid any 1v1 fight and ganged instead, all the while HOing anything in sight. Then A8Popycd called me out to the DA, which is another funny story.
And your claims of not hording is also rather laughable, especially when 7-8 Rookies are attacking a base that is being defended by 2-3 players.
The moral of the story is, sometimes what you wish for isn't exactly what you want. Your squadron wanted a fight and you guys got clobbered by 3 Knights while outnumbering us.
I do hope you guys come back to the MW, jeebus knows we can use more targets in there.

I had a few "words" with A8popy in the MA. Wish I would of gotten that text with a screen capture. He is by far the only A8 whose text alone cuts to the bone. Not a nice guy at all.

Wish more people played Mid or Early War. Lots of good fights in there, and would be more with more numbers :)

That was me that called you to come to A15. Everyone in MW was spread out trying to sneak a base or hoping for the chance to Ho someone. We were trying to force a fight. I gave you and several of the knits a compliment so why do you have to be so salty about it. :rolleyes: Relax. Take deep breaths.
A8's only made up a quarter or third of that "horde" as how the Bish were jumping over to Rooks to jump on the bandwagon so how do you know who was running from you? If an A8 is supposed to be delivering ord don't expect them to stop and fight with you. Those F6Fs that came out of 35 whether they were A8 or friendlies had a job to do and it was to not sit around and let you pick the hair out of their crack.ack.ack.ack.ack
By the time you saw the stukas taking off at 15 the ENY was over 25 and the only c205 or f4f were a couple that rearmed. At the peak the ENY was 35 and we couldn't even get a tank up. But AGAIN it was nice seeing the great an almighty AKAK smacking everyone around and being oh so gracious about it. Gotta love it. Look forward to seeing everyone again next Tuesday.

I agree BUT!!!!! When the LW mentality leaks over into MW there will be no difference between the 2 arenas. I like that there are less people in MW just wish the sides would be more equal.

Blowing past the merge to avoid a 1v1 just to join 3 other Rookies to gang a low Knight is just plain pathetic and it was an A8 member in that Hellcat (got kill on him), especially when the Hellcat had the advantage in both altitude and energy. The only non-A8 member was Heeler and he was in a P-51B trying to pick anything that moved and doing a piss poor job at it.
But as I mentioned to you in our duel, after our first fight where you were trying to HO on the initial merge speaks volumes about your fighting style and ability. But please, don't let my low opinion of your squadron stop you from coming into the MW. As I mentioned earlier, the MW needs more target drones and you guys fit the bill perfectly.

One of the funniest nights in the MW. It only got better when AK got called to the DA. What are you people thinking anyway? If you out number someone 3 to 1 in zeros and you get your arse handed to you, why would you ask him to the DA? :rofl

The post was supposed to help get a few more people flying MW especially on Tardtastic Tuesday where some people experience problems because of over crowding. MW might be a good alternative and just as fun. When coming there it doesn't matter much which chess piece you choose just try to keep the sides even but what I didn't expect was for some dope to hijack the thread and try and flame the squad I fly for for doing so or even being there.
Our squad demonstrates respect for most every squad in AH and doubt any of us will let just one hot head change that.... especially since every squad has at least one and is to be expected. Even tho ackack runs his mouth more than he should and gets to be annoying in a whining kind of way on the BB sometimes, he has helped a lot of people and I have to say i appreciate that but not his comments made. I doubt we would ever attack another squad for useless reasons as he has and his opinion of us matters not. We're a bunch of good guys, stick together and cause little to no trouble with other players. At some point I'm sure I'll be on his side and get the chance to find out using vox if he really does have a problem with the whole squad or just having another one of those whiny weeks that eventually will pass. All of us in the squad are pretty much like minded individuals. We work as a team, don't talk much smack, show respect in the arenas we fly in and lean more toward helping the underdog than the horde. We don't furball much and get more satisfaction out of playing every aspect of the game than just one. Nothing wrong with that IMO and don't understand why some grieve others about it. If your looking to pick some heavy A8's out of the sky, more power to ya, it's just not that hard since we usually keep coming back trying to finish off what we started. Nothing special about us akak but your the tops.

You and I have never dueled and as I can ever remember have never even engaged in a fight in my limited 8month career. If we did, then it was very immemorable as I can't even recall it.
Dont like 5 on 1? Then don't come, because like I said if we have a goal then the goal is the focus(not your lil "honorable duel") and if 5 needs to get a guy out of the way quickly so we can land troops then its gonna happen. Don't expect a "fair" fight if we are taking a base or fighter sweeping, cuz it aint gonna happen. If you get to pick a few guys who are focused on a goal besides you, then lucky you.

Since you said you were the one that invited us to play at A15, I figured you were Popycd since he was the only A8 I saw whining about how no one was at A15 to fight. My apologies for confusing you with this tool.
