Wow, an actual wish that has merit. 

I agree, it would be nice if there were thumbnail images of the skins on the download page.

the other good wish i had was a transparent player-join request popup window, or one that is smaller in size, positioned in a lower corner....  But I don't wanna muddy up this thread.

You know you can move join requests to the chat window don't you? That's how you avoid those annoying "Player 4368743623 wants to join you" messages when you're 200yds behind a bandit. :furious

I just wish it would be working for squad invites too.  :(

Skuzzy's said it's all generated by a script that's run. It would be impracticle and far too much work to get some new system up that also puts up a thumbnail for the skins.

However, you can go here:
http://www.netaces.org/skins/skins.htm

And see thumbnails and get direct downloads to HTC's server for the *.res download files. It hasn't been updated since the last skins pack, but aside from that it's very very helpful.

IT would be even better if they would make groupings of the skins  like:


all US planes  or all US Army/AirForce Plane Skins   All US Navy/Marine PLane Skins

all Britian Skins / All Finland Skins / All German

you get the idea......

as well as make a link to where you can download every single skin in a complete download instead of individuallly.....


if I had the Time..I would build a website/server and host it myself for this........as well as for the terrains ( have a downloadable zip file that self extracted that included all terrains, or all plane skins,  or each individual country's plane skins.etc........)

it is not hard to do, it just takes time to do it........

things like this do take time and as we all no poor old Skuzzy runs around now like a headless
chicken when pyro takes out the wrong plug,or forgets to pay the electricity bills :uhoh.

He would never get time to do it what with fixing everything and answering al our emails.
