Bought a reconditioned X52 last year from Saitek, I tried to use it, discovered that the
stick was not interchangable for left or right hand, and was unable to adapt to it. I don't play
enough to justify relearning to play with my right hand.
It's been in my storage area, high and dry, since then.
Would like $60.00 for it plus shipping costs (I still have the original carton it came in)
If you're interested PM me with your zip code and I'll get the actual shipping amount
for you from Fed-Ex ( I have an account) and let you know the total.
The transaction will be completed via Paypal.
I've checked it out, it does work, and has the manual and CD with it.

Is this the standard or PRO version of the X52?

It's the standard version

Please people, don't forget you need an externally powered USB hub to work with the X52.

NO, i dont have one.

Neither do I and it works great.

if your USB ports are powered in your tower you dont need one, if not, you do.
at least that is what i have come to understand, could be wrong though.

Never tried it on my laptop...I always use my Cyborgs on my laptop...

Well then, please forgive me. I'm used to seeing the occasional X52 LED threads in the Tech Support forum. Seemed to me every user required a powered USB hub.

The way the USB is specified, the connected device can pull max amount of power from the parent hub and is limited to 500mA. That's also the max draw a typical motherboard will allow per root hub. Most motherboards have two or more root hubs with max 4 ports per hub. If one of your devices draws 400mA and second one 300mA, then hub can't supply that. Solution is to plug each device into different hub. If your motherboard has only one root hub, then you'll need external powered hub.
If you check the base of the x-52 (stick) it says power consumption 1000mW, hence X-52 uses only half the available power per hub.

If you have any problems, a powered USB hub should be one of your first courses of action. It seems to usually sort your problems out.

FWIW
The bottom of mine says 500 mw. I also talked to Saitek support after an Ebay powered hub nightmare and the rep specifically said no powered hubs.
I don't know why or what the specific reasons) are but mines worked fine for a year or more plugged directly into the box.
