I remember this story clearly as it happened a few years back. Didn't know the details though until reading this article. Society needs a better method to take full measure against this man. Waiting 15-20 years to put this freak down is simply inexcusable.

sorry for venting....

Yes.....Only 3,308 more scums to go!! ThatS how many are on death row in the U.S.
-
wow, that dood is messed up in the head.
-
What a dang freak. He loaded the gun w/BB gun pellets.. in case he had to shoot the family dogs... so it wouldn't kill them.
-
There is absolutely no reason to allow that individual to continue to use oxygen.

No need for you to appologize. It's the judges, lawyers and people that defend these types of *$(#)#)@*@!!'s right to live that should be appologizing.
If the jury, after watching a video of a little boy being tortured and executed, doesn't come up with a death sentence, god help us all.

Except....it still would have killed the dogs. The BB pellets were loaded into a shotgun shell.

You know one of the often heard arguments against the death penalty is that it costs so much, which is completely asinine because it's these very same judges, lawyers, etc with their 15 years of appeals (at tax payer expense, no less) who make it cost so damn much.
Chris Rock had a great comment on this one time. He asked why it cost so much to execute someone, whether it was gas, or lethal injection, etc. Hell, he said, stabbin don't cost nuthin. :aok
-
should just have been taken out in the town square and hung ..........p.o.s. what a waste of money and time its a joke :furious
-
I say let him rock in prison (no parole) with the general population, some don't take kindly to those who harm children.
Death penalty is the easy way out. Though I must agree just a sick sick individual.

No kidding. Prison ethics are odd at times, and fiercely enforced. :uhoh

He also had a great bit about gun control. He said, "screw that, we need bullet control! Here's what gangbangers would be saying if bullets cost a couple grand each. I'd pop a cap in your prettythang but it'd cost me 2,000! Better hope walmart don't approve me for a bullet on layaway!"
Still going to say a firm NO to the death penalty.

Every court should have a courtyard outback with a floor drain, where those who committed brutal crimes ( committed, not possibly committed) are taken to and executed. Then use their body for medical experiments.
-
I say put him and dad in a locked room together and let things work themselves out.
-
Only one way to reform a molester; Bullet to the back of his head.

Balogna. He should have been executed in 1997 AFTER RAPING SOMEONE.
Had he been executed then, this wouldn't have happened.

I agree with that 100%.

It wouldn't have happened if he was left to rot in prison for the duration either. And the other inmates would make his (short) life a living Hell. :uhoh

I'm not willing to continue to pay for his existence. 'Rotting in Prison' and creating the largest prison population in the world is a damn poor excuse for not having the societal courage to do the right thing.

No argument from me. I was just responding to the statement that putting him away for good wouldn't have prevented this. It would have. I read once that the median annual cost for a federal prisoner was something like $50K. :O That's freakin' rediculous. For many of these animals, prison is actually a step up in their standard of living. I say bring back road gangs. "Cool Hand Luke" anyone?
-
Kill the PIECE OF $#!% he killed 3 people just to get to these 2 kids and then he kills 1 of them too
if i was the judge of that case i would of takein him to the side of the road myself and just thrown him in front of a truck or something :furious :furious :furious :furious
i also feel terrible for the family too :pray

Today's prisons are a country-club for the Mexican mafia. You lock him up in there and throw away the key, in 5 years' he might pop up as the next kingpin of MS-13, having hits' carried out on the judge and jury who put him there.
Put him in the electric chair, and don't wet the sponge.

All I can say is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hung_drawn_and_quartered
Details
Until 1814, the full punishment for the crime of treason was to be hanged, drawn and quartered in that the condemned prisoner would be:
1. Dragged on a hurdle (a wooden frame) to the place of execution. (This is one possible meaning of drawn.)[2]
2. Hanged by the neck for a short time or until almost dead (hanged).
3. Disembowelled and emasculated and the genitalia and entrails burned before the condemned's eyes (this is another meaning of drawn—see the reference to the Oxford English Dictionary below).[3]
4. Beheaded and the body divided into four parts (quartered).
Typically, the resulting five parts (i.e. the four quarters of the body and the head) were gibbeted (put on public display) in different parts of the city, town, or, in famous cases, in the country, to deter would-be traitors who had not seen the execution.

Jeffrey Dahmer didn't last long on his life sentence. The inmates took care of him for us. This guy wouldn't last long either, the inmates would make short work of him. Otoh.....society shouldn't leave it's duty to the dregs of society either. Society should have the testicular fortitude to do what is right.

don't wet the sponge.
I should know what that means......it's on the tip of my brain but just out of reach.....

Think of Tom Hanks and "The Green Mile."

Right, I know it comes from The Green Mile......and I remember that assinine guard NOT getting the sponge wet.....I just can't recall the consequences of not wetting the sponge for the life of me. :o
Didn't Tom Hanks and the other guard beat the crap out of the assinine guard for that stunt?

What happened was, instead of the current of electricity passing straight through his brain and killing him quickly, The current was spread through his whole body.

I'm a little skeptical about that.
I actually witnessed someone getting electrocuted after dry contact with high voltage (11KV), I can say there was none of the screaming exhibited there involved except from the other guys on the job site. It's one of the reasons I quit working as an electrical engineer.

You can thank our horrible drug laws for the huge prison population, not violent criminals.
