Title: Pilots shooting AC on the ground
Post by: Sled on August 16, 2008, 10:32:05 PM
I was hoping that a "rule" would not need to be written, But I guess it does.

Once again last night a pilot was filmed shooting AC on the ground as they rearmed.

I have warned about this in the past, it is not what FSO is about.

So now we have a rule against it in FSO.

From now on any pilots that shoot enemy AC on the ground with their .45, will be suspended from FSO.

FSO is about Man and Machine, vs. Man and Machine.

Not, "Can I sneak up on a guy while he is rearming, and kill him?"

OMFG!  ROC any comment?  LOL

That had nothing to do with the rule it's a personal thing between ROC & I :)

In Rangoon Frame 3 I had a couple of my assigned squadmates jokingly talking about hunting and shooting down a friendly. At least winging him. I promptly said "Don't even joke about these things, they don't have a place in here"

The rest of us try to be serious in FSO. If you don't, what does that say to the rest of us?

Personal or no, you just don't do some things.

You should have been around when the FDB's flew squad ops. They were allways shooting each other down.

And maybe that's why they're not in FSO?
