Title: Latency boot
Post by: Raubvogel on October 13, 2001, 02:40:00 AM
Ever been any thought of booting people when their latency gets above a certain level? There are some REALLY laggy people on in the wee hours of the morning.

whatta mean jpeg?  can't do that to paying customers.....it's a requirement just like anyone else, if ur connected at 500ms or higher it's simple, they get dumped back to arena screen.  There's many games that do that, and is it really unfair to say that someone that is obviously going to be laggy in the arena to try connecting again?

I can't think of any. Only quake type games, but they are based on the free use of someone else's server - you are not paying for the priviledge,
