Anyone know the wind directions and speeds in the MA ? or is it topsecret for a select few..... One thing about HTC is the lack of detailed information available..as in fixed this that and umm 100 other things ..but what are them 100 other things... and what other changes were involved that would affect gameplay. ---- one thing that would be great is online access to a HELP section in flight for all the newbies and dummies like myself.

I can understand not having data on winds aloft, but I've yet to see a real airfield without a windsock. This can't be terribly hard to program.

We don't need no steenking windsock (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)
Just put a small ack-like structure on the roof of the tower and have it always set in 'destroyed' mode. A small fire burning, and giving off a light wisp of smoke to indicate wind speed and direction.
Dunno whether we still have the nights anymore (haven't seen them since the demise of 1.03), but a flame atop the tower would even assist with nighttime rtb attempts.

Just Lick your finger and put it out of the cockpit to find out which direction the wind is (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)

fek all of you, I devote at least an hour every night getting wind layer alt, heading and updraft speeds.
Surely you've seen me broadcasting from 20k in my C-47 weather ship?
It's all in vain I see (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/frown.gif)

hhhmm wind direction...
As far as I can see it always comes from the propeller part of my plane and goes towards the tail part. How does your wind go?
