From reading the recollections of pilots like Robert Johnson and Art Fiedler, it seems that the practice of P-47Ds being modified in-field to pull ~72" MP on WEP was a ubiquitous practice. I think this would make an interesting and desirable perk option to add a little something to your common Jug, and would require no new skins or models, only adding some thrust and making the MP needle go up higher on WEP.

we only get factory models here, not allowed to change them after they been shipped lol

IMO, this modification was so common and standard that it should be a perk option. The P&W R-2800 easily withstood the extra boost. In fact, in testing they were run for hours at even higher power settings without failing.
