I think the 109 series looks great, but it bothers me that the tailwheels are incorrect on a number of models. It's fairly common knowledge that the G series tailwheels did not retract, while the F and K series tailwheels did. Moreover, at least one 109 (I think it's the K) has a shadow with a tailwheel even when the gear is up.
I hear that there are similar issues with the 190 series. :noid

G-2 is ok with the retractable tailwheel. The G-6, on the other hand, should have a non-retractable tailwheel like the g-14.

Ja, the G2 had a retractable tailwheel IIRC. G6 - G14 did not.
The problem with the 190s is that the tail wheels only half retract when they they should retract 3/4s. It sounds a little silly when you put it that way but there should only be a small part of tyre visible rather than half of the whole tail wheel assembly.

Only the early Bf 109Gs had a retractable tailwheel and even these got got a fixed one sooner later because the wheel was too small for soft surface and larger one replaced this, the new one being too large to be retractable. Most of the FAF G-2s had fixed tailwheel allready when delivered (even the new ones), however, there were still some with retractable tail wheel. The AH skins are the MT-201 which had fixed tailwheel and MT-222 which IIRC had a smaller recractable tail wheel.
