I dunno if this is a bug, or a "feature". Yesterday we had a hell of a naval battle in P42/A40 waters. I landed not less than 10 whole rounds on enemy cruiser. She did not smoke, let alone slowdown or sink. Is this normal? I think in RL couple/three rounds could render the vessel useless.

We don't have any AP rounds, just HE. Which are completely useless for hitting ships. Granted you'll tear up everything on the deck, but you won't punch any real nasty holes in anything. I fired 21 rounds at a destroyer-escort; nothing. On the same token, I sank a carrier with a single torpedo up the butt from a PT-Boat

Ahh! Thks for explanation. Now comes the time for asking Htc. include AP as loadout option for 8''. Just to give the fleet (the enema, that is) something to think of while merrylly launching Kites into the air while in guns range (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif).

Use the 5" guns. 20xAA shells will sink a destroyer(offline tested).

Do they have the same range as 8''?

Version 1.052 is out now. HE vs ships is fixed.
1 or 2 salvos from a single 8" turret sank a destroyer, 4 sank a cruiser, 6 sank the CV.
Offline tested.
