Title: Gixer Yak-9T Films
Post by: Gixer on August 22, 2008, 04:56:17 AM
While it's great receiving messages asking about the Yak-9T and in particular gun films I've decided to create a direct download of five films for anyone who's interested. This isn't at all anything against those featured in the film, nor did they make any mistakes other then passing too close to a 37mm.  :D

They are just the sequence of shorter films that I have captured over the last couple of tours. Thanks to all of those that have said hello and shown an interest in the Yak-9T   :salute

This is a zip file. I assume it's got .ahf's inside?

Just wondering if they are AHFs or avis or wmvs, etc.

I don't know what you can to in the MA with that yak Df54 but your darn good with it in the DA . I think your qualified enough to make some films for us, especially on  reversals. I made some short training vids for my squad on throttle management a while back. In those films I explained what I was doing using the squad ch button on an empty channel. Maybe you could do the same .

Those were awesome films Gixer. Great flying. I wish I was half as good with those cannon rounds as you are though.

sir, your perception of my flying skills and my perception of my
flying skills are compleately differant . As far as im concerned I'm
a terrible pilot and my scores in DA bear this out(yes i do check my
scores)  However i do have my moments of glory(although very briefe). I do have some films of reversals but don't know how to post
them(can't log in to picture hanger don't know why)

Very nice.  :aok Gixer you make me sick in the best way. Thank you for the films.

The ballistics of that cannon are just awesome. I was screwin around and smacked a 190 porker running away from me from a 1000 out and was sold. The yak tango is a dirty dirty aircraft.
