I am very curious to see how they solve the EMI problem.

Anything in the path of the power, that can conduct electricity, will suddenly generate a magnetic field.

I too wondered about surgical implants.

There are plenty of materials out there which are not effected by EMI, but most, with any structural integrity, are cost prohibitive right now, as far as I know.

People worry about Cell phones causing cancer and fertility problems,  Would hate to see what would happen it they were charging your pants as well :

Well..heh I can't help myself.

You should always wear rubber soled shoes whilst playing with fully installed surgical implants.

Just another safety tip!
