Hey,
Anyone going to the Anime/SCI FI/Horror/Gaming convention in Toronto this weekend? I have to take the kids, but I’m getting Buzz Aldrin’s autograph!

I just passed through there last weekend. The QEW from Toronto to Niagara was bumper to bumper stop and go. We lost hours in that mess. I think I could have made better time on my bicycle for a good part of it. We eventually exited the QEW and wandered towards Niagara Falls using country roads, dead reckoning, Papa's memory, a compass, intuition and the advice of locals. Things really improved once we got off.
Bring a good map or Garmin!

Last year we got stuck for about 3 hours because of a smashup on the highway. We found the backroads (once we got to an exit) and things went faster. It's the kids one trip they get a year. Me driving and 6 teenagers in the van.
Check list.
1. Asprin....check
2. Ear defenders....check
3. Smokes....check
4. Barf bags.....check
5. Aces II seat...pins removed, check
6. 1500 pounds of snacks and sodas....check
Looks like I'm all set.
