The white trash in me really digs that songs.  I can see me blasting it while driving my mullet-mobile.

It's no "Night Moves" though.

See Nef gets it... its like ordering Coke and getting Ice tea,  you might really like Ice tea, but your brain and your mouth is expecting coke,  bleeck,....  same on the radio,  tune starts up, crank up the radio, expecting Werewolves of London, and instead get this crap.

Maybe if Kid Rock had some imagination/talent and could write music this could have been better.

Diablo, I missed the mullet years, no mullets in the Air Force, AC/DC and Bob Seiger are better than this...

I agree.

But I've always tended to accept something for what it is rather than what it is not.

This is more like a mash-up to me.  Sort of like this great mash-up:

Werewolves of London, and Sweet Home Alabama are classics in their own right, but I have to say I think Kid Rock actually did a pretty decent job with All Summer Long. Never in a million years would I think those two songs could be combined like that and made into something new. I'm not a huge Kid Rock music fan by any means but I do like that song, and I DO respect Kid Rock as a person for all the free concerts he's done for the troops and the tours he's gone on with the USO. He's gone out of his way a bunch of times to donate his time and money to the troops.

Definitely not one of Kid Rocks better songs.. I like a bit of everything music wise and I do like some of Kid Rocks songs, mainly his first album but this song pretty much sucks.

Oddly enough I was just listening to this song on youtube..

Kinda sums up a lot of the music these days..

Sweet Home Alabama, too!

Actually I like Kid Rock's version of Sweet Home Alabama..

Here is a good vid of him singing it with Lynyrd Skynrid.

LOL! Thats exactly what happened. We have this station here, http://www.wrlf.com/advertise.php

It says Classic Rock, but it keeps sneaking in rock from the 90's and today. Nothing is worse than when the DJ gets on and says:

"Up next we got the Doors, the Who, Jimi Hendrix and 3 Doors Down"

All "Classic" means is "timeless".  Doesn't mean "old" or "new".

I can understand melodies being reused and songs being remade, it happens.  Look at "Rappers Delight" how many times has that been used for other songs.  And Aerosmiths remake of "Come Together" stands apart from the Beatles' version, but listening to Kid Rock's song sounds like he just lifted the melody from Werewolves and inserted his lyrics, and the first time I heard on the radio I thought I was about to hear "Werewolves of London" started humming, started to sing along... WTH!! and now I cant stand to listen to it...

I'm curious.   You appear to be not more than 16 years old.   However, you seem to "know" Robbie's habits?   How, because I'm a personal friend of his and what you just typed is far from the truth.

Go mow some lawns kid.
