Title: Calling all Brits
Post by: Bruv119 on August 24, 2008, 07:51:44 AM
The Few has about 5 vacant spots reserved for British players.

We have a reputation to uphold so we dont want no riff raff.

Ideally you will have some flying skills and be ready to better yourself on the field of battle from furballing to bombing.

Nothing beats our vox channel for banter and joking.  We can provide dogfighting training if needed and we use Ventrilo for voice comms.  Having a mic is a definite plus.

If your already stuck in a squad and you dont think its going anywhere because of time zone conflicts or the fact your CO might be a crazy fool look me up.  Currently Rooks for one more month then swapping to Knights until the end of the year.

UNITE under one banner and make a force second to none.

To be British or European.   The more skilled you are the better = less work for me  ;)

We don't have any age limits but any under 18's would be put under close scrutiny for suitability and maturity.

Ok, well I definitely fit into the British category... :)

As for age, I'm 16, but I think I'm mature enough...could you please expand on the bit about suitability etc?  Also, I was looking on your website, and it mentioned using Ventrilo...my computer is slow/clunky enough as it is, and is it absolutely necessary to use ventrilo if I were to join?

Yes they are, but they moved to England about 18 years ago and I've lived in the UK all my life (we all have US and UK passports).

I think you should accept our challenge to a Scrimage elsewhere in this section and in General to prove once and for all to me and Zack.

1) You can field 8 Brits good and true.

2) That a Brit squad can crush all before it. (Or precision anyway)

I am sure you can beat us but how badly eh 8-0 or close?

getting 8 guys all online at the same time would be a little problematic since our guys flying habits are all different.  Rangoon showed that we can pull together when needed.

What are the rules of your scrimage so I dont confuse it with the old FA Kings of the sky event.

Everyone takes off, everyone flies towards each other big merge, whoever wins the melee pushes towards enemy field,  obviously no de-acking.

Ill carry on in General where we are also having this conversation. I have given a flavour of the rules there.

See ya in general
