Title: Late War Map Rotations
Post by: DREDger on August 24, 2008, 10:22:08 AM
Yes another post about map rotations.  I have one request though.  Would it be possible to see to it that the same two maps in the late war don't occur simultaneously.

Last night when one side won the map, that arena map switched to the same map as in the other arena.

I imagine the maps rotate sequentially.  However, it seems it would be easy enough to set up a commant 'if such map in other arena, then bump map into next in order of rotation'

Anyway, just my gripe.

We need one arena that rotates the  HUGE maps and the other rotating the less than HUGE maps. Then there you go, the problem is permanently and amicably solved...

Forgot about Uterus.
I don't see why it would be that hard to edit the map to be compatable with AH2(new version, anyway).

Yup, something like that. Anytime it happens by pure accident, everyone is happy and there's magically no maps whines. The numbers seem to pan out perfectly too. If 500 are on there tends to be about 300 on the HUGE one and 200 on the smaller one.
