I'm an equipment operator at a small mine south of Adrian, OR. Job sucks, pay sucks, but it's only 6 miles down the highway.

Well, Bed (1/3 of your life) is obvious, but considering I work 50% virtual, and I don't watch much TV except during football season, the place I spend the majority of my life is here"

Hmmm you must be close or at least in the same state as me and a few other guys. We need to get together and have a golf outing to loose a few balls and drink beer while we hack at a small white ball on the grass.

Where he lives, every once in awhile the buildings flip over and fall in the water.

Right now I am in Green Acres just outside Dothan where the Highland Oaks course is. Next week I will be in Atlanta for surgery and then I will hit the north side of the state for the courses there (Hampton Cove and Silver Lakes at least). Jones was quite an architect! I fell in love with the Dothan National but I really miss the courses in South Florida and the TPC Sawgrass (Jacksonville) is one of my favorites. I have been trying to hit all the courses I can before my wife returns from the Philippines. She doesnt like the 'rated' courses if you know what I mean.
-
Well if you get up around Birmingham give me a shout and I will grab a couple of buddies and we will go hit a round. I suck at golf but have fun playing it.

Yah... but it'll fall clean into some of the chuck holes we got in NY.
*swish* "Nothin but net!!"
The 59th street bridge is rumored to be impassable by anything less than an up-armored crown vic.
;)
That looks kinda like a mini. It's got a ford logo... is that one of the models ford wants to sell here next year?

remember, its a ford European car, you guys want your 8mpg V8's with leaf springs which stopped being used in the UK in about the 70s. Totally different markets, we cant drive horrifically uneconomic cars when petrol costs $10 a gallon. However times i guess will start changing now that your petrol is starting to cost loads too.
Its a Ford Fiesta Mk6 phase 2 (mk6.5 its called) the Mk7 is due next march and probably the one you've seen/heard about.
Thats the top end model, 2litre, 150hp. the slowest one is 1.25litres and 70hp....
-
Here. Not really, but I like the retro picture. Mine is a lot more cluttered, too.

The lava lamp has a purpose?
-
wow overlag... 150 hp! must give you and your passenger (will it fit a passenger) whiplash every time you stomp on the go fast pedal eh!
I don't think you know much about what we drive in America.
lazs
-
The lava lamp has a purpose?
Why yes....yes it does. The purpose is yet to be identified, but we are working on that. Hasn't been on in months, but it is good at keeping me from doing whatever work i am suppose to do if it's on. "Sorry sir, i spent 5 hours watching a blob float around in a heated glass cylinder" :D
-
The lava lamp has a purpose?
Well if your into playing table top War Hammer 40K, or Mech Warrior, a lava lamp makes a great reactor core for an urban battle field. Beats the heck out of the cheap cardboard cut out buildings. :D

Well if you get up around Birmingham give me a shout and I will grab a couple of buddies and we will go hit a round. I suck at golf but have fun playing it.
My game has suffered too. Even though I hit the range a lot my accuracy has suffered from old age and drifting eyesight (same goes for AH gunnery). Im just not hitting the sweet spot as much but switching to the newer technologies just doesnt seem right either.

In my favorite worn out chair with my headphones on and the lappy on my lap. So old, yet so comfy that you never really wanna get out of it. Not that different from this guys chair actually :D
