Bats are at risk from wind turbines, researchers have found, because the rotating blades produce a change in air pressure that can kill the mammals.
I wonder if this will slow down T. Boone Pickens plan?

Wind turbines have been killing birds by the score for years. I'm surprised it took them this long to find the dead bats.
Watch closely for a call to ban all wind turbines as environmentally destructive machines.
If anyone stopped to think about it long enough, all you would have to do is put a thin wire mesh around the things. Problem solved.

"Oh the humanity!"
Wind turbines disengrate too. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7nSB1SdVHqQ) If its manmade, its only a matter of time before it breaks.

There was one featured on the Natgeo ch the other day that dealt with a helical shape. It worked from wind blowing in any direction, was not suseptable to ice, and was safe for wild life as well.
