here's some excerpts from a website I saw...
...as long as men can be topless, constitutionally women should have the same right, or men should also be forced to wear something hiding their chest.
Currently, women who dare to be topless in public in the US are repeatedly being arrested, fined, humiliated, criminalized.
On Aug 23rd, 2008, topless women will rally in great numbers across the USA to protest this gross inequality in the law and will demand that they be granted the fundamental right to be topless where men already enjoy that right according to the 14th amendment of the Constitution (please see our exact legal argument on the right to be topfree for women under "14th amendment" in the column on the right.)

Well it is legal in New York State and for ~10 years in Ontario.
-
You are RIGHT, :furious
Those photos, are definately a crime...!
The first makes my eyes hurt!!!

Back in the 1920's my grandfather was arrested and charged with indecent exposure for wearing a swimsuit very similar to this one. LOL

I say let em go nude if they want.
The sooner this country looses its ridiculous hangups over sex and the human body and catches up with the rest of the world.
the better off we'll all be.
-
Just remember to wear shades when looking at boobage on the beach otherwise you get evil looks from a) the girl you're staring at b) you're girfriend/wife

So should we adopt the customs of say India, the Middle East and Persia, 99% of the Islamic world with regards to appropriate dress codes for women?
-
Covering everyone might be the better option. (http://smilies.vidahost.com/otn/shocked/Wow1.gif)

Sorry,
I should have said "Civilized world"

Topless "Rights"?
Seems to me there should by a Topless Law. Aggressively enforced.

You would quickly change your mind the first time you seen a topless 500lb whale beached in a kiddie pool
-
One sometimes has to sacrifice in the interest of the greater good.
Being married for 300 years, very little frightens me any more.
-
The Swedish one are on this now.
The big riddle is who is going to go topless and who isn't.
I guess many of you hope to see just the nice ones topeless and the rest covered, but maybe...not :devil
-
i don't know what the big deal with breasts is anyway, too many missionaries running around shouting "sin sin sin" i guess.

male or female ?
-
500 lbs.? Gender is immaterial. Keep it in the circus tent with the door firmly closed
-
If you got it, flaunt it. If you got more than we can bare,
DONT share!

The problem with this stuff is that the women who should go topless never do and the ones who should NEVER go topless always will. Just concider the all the spandex you see on the wrong people...
-
This would certainly cause Global Warming. ;)

WTF??
Its a GHOST! :cry

I kinda like some things left to the imagination. When everything is out in plain sight all the time the excitement dims.
-
Just get better glasses. Your enthusiasm will return.

I remember sitting on a bench by the seafront at Cannes. A pretty girl, who looked like she was on her lunch hour from the office, strolled onto the beach, casually took off her top and started to read her book. Simple as that. I remember turning to my wife and commenting how quickly you got used to the idea of seeing women topless because of course by then any novelty had worn off. In fact the novelty had worn off years earlier and then you wonder 'Why all the fuss?'.
Nothing to be excited about.

was flying with a buddy of mine a couple years ago. he tells me about the nude beach in north jersey. so we head up there, drop alt to abut 500 ft, just over the surf(so that if we lose the engine we have safe place to land without hitting any wha..eerr...people). figure we might get a good gander at some good looking people.
NOT!!!!!! looked like the thinnest was in the 300lb range, and the rest were people that made ME look yhoung(i'm 46)
a whole beach full of people that should never EVER be naked in a public place :O :O
that cessna was agonizingly slow that day as we tried to get the ehllll outta there
-
nude beaches have never been a good place to go to see skin. ironic.
American laws are archaic in this regard. I have known many women over the years that despise them because they want to lose their tan lines.

Yeah, no kidding. The nanny-state

And then you read about Crawford County schools and turn to dressing your women up like Muslims.

The only problem I can see is that men would be held liable in civil court for sexual harrasment (and hell, probably in criminal court for some sexual offense) for looking at the women running around topless.

Sunshades man!
Imagine the sunglass sales boom once those women have it their way...

In the 1920's Senator Strom Thurmond, a Clemson University track team athlete was stopped while he was at home in Edgefield County, SC because he was out running in track shorts. 1. at the time, nobody but nobody ran for fun... 2. The sheriff thought he was out running in his underwear... It caused quite a stir, he and his father had to prove that Clemson's track team did, in fact run around in public in those skimpy outfits.
