Hey gang
I could use some help. I started an Italian squad in the Axis-Allied arena and I cant figure out how to type one of the letters in the squads name.
Here is the historical name: 4° Stormo
How do I get the character that looks like a degree mark next to the number 4??
...closest I can get is: 4* Stormo
I'd like to get it correct If I can ...any help would be appreciated!! Thanks! :salute

In AVA is already present a 4° Stormo Caccia "F. Baracca" FYI

No problem, I set it to 4 Stormo because it fit the time frame. I will change it to another Italian unit when I get home from work. Maybe 1 Stormo? I think I read that they took over what was left of 4 Stormo's planes when they go sent back to Italy to rest and refit.
Sorry was not trying to step on you guys toes. I was unaware of your existence. I look forward to flying some joint operations with you in the future! Ciao!
Be advised we will be changing names alot ...to fit what Is happening in the arena....maps and plane set ...side balance ..etc etc

no problem Helm :)
My intention was just to avoid confusion and homonimy; on the other side we are pleased to see Italian markings used .
Flying together would be very cool; at the moment I am the only one flying in the group, (but we are reorganizing), but I'd be very happy to wing with your group; take care i'm not that good anyway :aok
Thanks for your correctness and courtesy
<S>
Other Italian groups operating the area were:
1° Stormo, ( but there was already agroup in AH don't know if they are still operative)
54° Stormo CT (btw C.T. means Caccia Terrestre --> fighter operative by base on ground) based in Tunisia
51° Stormo CT based at Gela (Sicily)
363° Squadriglia base at Bengasi

Ubergeek.
:lol
actually it wasn't some sort of impressive random ASCII knowledge. I just opened the character map in windows, found what I was looking for and it tells you how to type it. :)

Alt codes, forgot about those :)

Thanks for the info ...only other Italian unit I could find in aces high is the LW-MA called 1^ gruppo caccia Asso di Bastoni
so I'm gonna go with 1^ Stormo for now ...I am doing some more research ...and may change it ....again thanks for the info
