I can make the site if you can get the host.
Click my sig. Made that.
Edit: I suggest a paid host like lunarpages or hostgator, cheap and no ads or anything. Most free hosts you'll end up getting a banner at the top or bottom or something.

HTML, notepad days are long gone.  Pick up Adobe Creative Suite 3 (or just Dreamweaver) more then you'll ever need and a basic website takes just a few hours with this software. Few video tutorials and you'll be away.

I suggest hostultra. They have nicely priced webspace packages, and offer domain names for a good price.
I run three sites off them.
The sapp site www.secretassociation.org
The 80th site www.80thfsheadhunters.com
and the AoAH site www.acesofaceshigh.com

I also suggest taking Gixers advice, notepad days are over. Much easier to just use an editor (frontpage, dreamweaver) etc.,
I actually use several different website editors, coffeecup has a nice editor that isn't priced too high.

Nothing is priced too high.  (http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/fc/paper.gif) (http://www.freesmileys.org)

Adobe? Dreamweaver? You're kidding, right? Why anyone would pay for software to write HTML is beyond me. Use HTML Kit. Its free, it has 400+ plug-ins, and writes whatever you tell it to.

Registration gets you a lighter wallet and a few whiz-bang toys, should you be so inclined.

When did I ever say anything about paying? Yes I agree you'd be crazy to pay for a program that writes HTML but it does more then just convert to HTML code, and the entire suite is excellent.

Also from the HTC main page, select Community and then Squads.  From the list, click on them indivdually.  If they've got a squadron website, it's listed as a link.
