Post by: Thruster on August 30, 2008, 07:05:22 PM: Well, prior to being drafted for congress, he was a teacher. Prior to that I believe he worked for a minority activist organization. I understand he has an exceptionally clean driving record. Maybe he'd do well as a marginally overqualified valet.

For what reason? It's highly unlikely that anybody is going to change their opinion or their vote. I know my mind's been made up for a while now. Why bother trying to one up each other over candidates none of us know personally, and none of us can really say what that person will do in office. We're all going to vote how our mind and heart tell us to. As much wenching, complaining, and insulting we do forget one thing. In November we as a nation will elect a new leader. What's said on this board will make no difference in the outcome. What's not said on this board is... We're the luckiest people on earth.
