Yeah it doesn't look like there is any release date for it in the UK, and from what I've found I don't think there are any plans on it as of yet, sorry man.

They've got it in the store right across the street from me. Want me to pick it up for you?

I don't think any copy you buy will work in the UK.

DVDs are region-encoded, as are DVD players.

All to do with who owns what rights in which country, IIRC.

Either way, the DVD I ordered from Amazon UK won't work here in Sydney.

IT will work if you have a region free DVD player / recorder, or get a hold of a bit of software called DVDFab (Platinum)... the rest is up to you to figure out :)

Perhaps the UK just hates Australia? lol. I would think UK to U.S. might not have that issue for some reason... Nothing to back that up, just a feeling.

Yep. The next thing you know they will come out with a game where you can play like you are a WWII pilot.

a very very old game called "fishing for a lightning bolt"
basically you play hooky from Sunday school to go fishing when a t-storm blows in.

Every console has mods available to remove regional restrictions. They're not expensive, and many now don't even require soldering. Some give you tons of functions too. Dual boot, browser access, etc, etc.

That playable demo isn't working. I get a 4.0m download and it should be over 450m. I then get an error when trying to install saying the installer is either corrupt or incomplete. I'm going with the incomplete option since I only got a 4m download. Same thing happened with Firefox and IE.
