Title: Stupid question

Why are these 2 cards different in looks yet same name and model number.  I am looking at getting a express card sound card for my laptop and the X-Fi looks like a pretty good card

Just a guess but the second one might be a picture of last years model.

The correct picture is on the provantage link.  I've never like Buy.com and I'm sure their image is wrong on their site.
