My throttle is getting power fine, the stick however, isnt getting power... kind of odd since just this morning it was working fine on my desktop, and the otherday it was working fine on my laptop....
-
Its not getting power or its not working? Are you running it iff a dedicated powered Hub?
This has cropped up a few times with me but the componants have worked fine. I'd do a cold shut, reconnect to another hub, and then start her up again. Power thru the USB ports can be a very touchy thing. My problem is the opposite. I cant power them down, even when the puter is off. The only way would be to disconnect power to the dedicated Hub, and Im never doing a thing again to a working system.
Im done tinkering with working systems.

Check that you haven't inadvertently bent on of the pins either end of the cable whilst connecting the joystick to throttle.
-
Check the pins on the connectors.
Switch the ends over and see if that helps.
If you have a multimeter check for continuity of the conductors inside the cable.
-
I switched over the cables, that didnt help, i did a quick check of the pins before posting this, and didnt see any bent ones, but ill check again more carefully

theres one bent prong on the connector cable, any way of straightening it out some? tried a pair of needle nose pliers, and they wer to bigto get in there, pliers wernt very small though.
-
Try using a pair of surgical forceps. That is what I use to grab and straighten wayward pins in poorly treated plugs ;)

wer can i get surgical forceps?

Local head shop or you can try a corner drug store like CVS or Walgreens
