I did search and several other players seem to be having similar problems.
this is what happening to my game. I can start the game up with no problem but usually after matter of minutes, epsecially just after I up in plane. My screen either goes completely white or black and I get the ''aceshighII.exe has encounter problem and has to be shut down". I have gotten those before in past but usually after the first time, I don't have that problem again. I did play earlier today and didn't have any problems. I tried to go in about hour ago and it happened 8 times in row. I tried to restall and it did it again. I went to the DA to see if it would let me play, and sure enough, after five minutes it crapped out again.
Does this sound like problem the game server itself or my computer? Hopefully its just the game itself because is going to suck if i have to stop playing the game for good.

more than likely its something on your computer. If it was the game you would have a thousand people in here complaining.
Are you using a custom sound pack? if so get rid of it, it may have a corrupt sound and when it plays that sound your computer crashes.

AMD released a new CPU optimizer in August. :aok
Probably since you have had no issue until now its something you recently changed.

A DXDIAG ouput would be helpful.
