Title: Blender - AH export script
Post by: Denholm on September 04, 2008, 08:59:19 AM
Hello there,

I managed to get in contact with XJazz and he told me that he no longer has any of the old AC3D Export/Import scripts for Blender. So I was wondering, anyone here have his old export scripts that use the htp.txt file for export properties? Here's the one I'm looking for:

I was also wondering if anyone has one of XJazz's old import scripts, this one in particular:

If you have them could you send them to me? They would be very useful!

Good news! I just looked into my Blender's Script folder and found a .zip archive with these files in them:

So I won't be needing the import script. However if someone out there still has the export script I'm looking for, please let me know. Meanwhile I'll try to figure out the Batch Export. :D

Okay, looks like I'm all clear! :D

I talked with XJazz today and he told me how to work his batch export script. After writing your htp.txt file you don't save it as, "htp.txt." You instead save it as the name you want your exported .ac file to be. For example, if you want your exported .ac file to be named, "bunker.ac." Name your htp.txt file, "bunker.ac" (Yes, .ac not .txt.) Remember to save it to the folder which contains the .blend file. Then upon exporting tell the export script to save the exported file to: \HTC\ah2editor\userlib\

That way your [file-name].ac (remember, .ac not .txt) file won't be over-written.

Thanks anyways, and if any of you need the export script, send me a PM. :)
